How does this product promote vascular integrity and healthy connective tissue?

Vitamin C supports healthy function of vascular endothelial cells, which line the circulatory system.1 Vitamin C is also essential for the development and maintenance of connective2 and epithelial tissue, which line the outer surfaces of the body and its cavities (including the skin and mucosal membranes of the gut).3, 4 Vitamin C is needed to form collagen, a connective tissue protein that is vital for skin elasticity, tissue growth, and normal repair.5, 6 Vitamin A is required for forming epithelial tissue, particularly in the eye.7*

How does this product support a healthy heart?

Both vitamin C and the complex nutrition provided by the many whole food ingredients in the formula support cholesterol metabolism8 and blood cholesterol levels in healthy individuals.*

How do the ingredients in this product support the immune system response function?

Vitamin C enhances the healthy function of the immune system by supporting the maturation of T cells.9 Additionally, vitamin C stimulates the function of leukocytes and improves natural killer (NK) cell activity.10 Vitamin A is important for innate cell-mediated immunity and antibody response, is crucial for the normal development of immune system T helper 1 and T helper 2 cells, and supports the function of T cells and B cells.11 Vitamin C increases immune system response function in some cell lines.12, 13 Vitamin A helps support and maintain immune system response function.*
